Former Indian batsman and IPL franchise Punjab Kings batting coach Wasim Jaffer can be considered as one of the funniest people on social media. Jaffer is quite active on his official Twitter handle and time and again grabs headlines for posting hilarious memes or giving a witty reply to any other cricketer or fan.
On June 11, Friday, the veteran again managed to steal all the thunder on social media as he came up with an amusing tweet in response to a tweet made by India’s ace speedster Ravichandran Ashwin. Ashwin shared a candid picture in the wee hours of Friday in which he can be seen involved in a serious conversation with ace batsman Cheteshwar Pujara.
With the caption, the off-spinner asked the cricket fans to guess what the two cricketers are talking about.
“Prizes for guessing what @cheteshwar1 is telling me here!” Ashwin tweeted.
Many Twitterati came up with hilarious replies and Wasim Jaffer was one of them. Jaffer came up with a combined Game of Thrones and Gangs of Wasseypur reference to decode what Ashwin and Pujara were talking about. Recalling the 2016 T20 World Cup and 2019 World Cup, Jaffer said that Pujara will take revenge for both the competitions.

Team India starts their training in the UK
Notably, India experienced a dream ride in the 2016 T20 World Cup and 2019 World Cup during the league stage. However, the team failed to produce decent performance in the semi-finals of both the ICC events and were thus made exit from both the competitions.
With his tweet, the PBKS batting coach indicated that India doesn’t want a repeat telecast of the same in the final of the inaugural edition of the World Test Championship. India will square off against New Zealand in the WTC final from June 18 to June 22 at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton. The team recently came out of their isolation after completing the five-day quarantine period in the United Kingdom.
Team India is now involved in practice matches and training sessions to prepare themselves for the final.
